On Site Filing of Securing a Building Permit & Other Construction Related Permits (Complex Applications) - Complex Type Structures/Occupancy
The National Building Code of the Philippines (PD 1096), Section 301, requires any person, firm or corporation to first obtain a building permit before constructing, altering, repairing, converting, using, occupying, moving, demolishing or adding to any building/structure. This covers construction/erection/addition/alteration/renovation/repair/legalization of Complex-type project activity/structures/occupancy: interior renovations covered by an appropriate Building Permit, conversion of existing building occupancy classification, multiple-unit residential houses (row houses, townhouses, and the like), single detached residential houses not more than 7 storeys, commercial buildings not more than 9 storeys, warehouses not more than 9 storeys, market buildings not more than 9 storeys, demolition of any occupancy/use with an area of more than three hundred (300) square meters, billboard structures, and all other types of occupancy not more than 9 storeys.
